Many thanks to everyone who voted in the Conversation Street Awards 2015! Below is the list of winners, which you can hear us discussing in Episode 180 of the podcast.

Conversation Street Episode 180 - The Conversation Street Awards 2015

We may have been away for a few weeks, but now we're back, with the results of the Conversation Street Awards 2015! Who were our Top Lad and Lass of the year? Who was the wrongest Wrong 'Un? Which entrances and exits did we like the most? And which young character will be crowned the winner of our inaugural Our Kid award? All these questions and more are answered in this week's show! After announcing all the winners, we look back at some of our other highlights of 2015 before setting our sights to the future and making some predictions for the year to come.

Conversation Street Awards 2015 Nominations

The end of 2015 is nearly here, which means the return of the Conversation Street Awards! The past twelve months have seen their fair share of heroes and villains on the cobbles, but which characters and storylines are most deserving of praise?   Results will be revealed in our annual awards show around New Year, but first, have a look at the nominations below and pick your winners!  The listener poll count for two thirds of the overall vote, and Gemma and Michael will get the rest, so make sure you cast your vote here!

Conversation Street Episode 179

On our latest podcast, we dissect the episodes of Coronation Street broadcast in the UK between the 7th and 11th November. After Rob's reappearance last Friday, we get to find out this week exactly what he's up to, and it all revolves around a certain Connor family secret. No, it's nothing to do with Michelle's seemingly forgotten real son Alex, although it does concern the parentage of another of the Street's residents... Meanwhile, there's some wrinkly romping going on at Number 1, as Ken invites Nessa to stay the night, and the secret's out about Sarah's pregnancy, but can Kylie keep schtum? Conversation Street Episode 178

On the latest podcast, we chat about the episodes of Corrie broadcast in the UK between the 27th November and the 4th December. This week, Aiden reaches the next level in shirt unbuttoning - his rugged manliness may not impress us, but it certainly gets the attention of a newly returned Sarah. By the end of the week she's got a lot more to think about, though, after she discovers she's pregnant with Callum's baby! The question is, is she going to keep it, or make it "do one"? Meanwhile, Craig worries about taking his relationship with Caitlin to the next level, whilst Carla shows no such qualms with Nick - in fact, by Wednesday, the couple are engaged! In the Kabin, we talk about the rumoured return of three classic characters, before hearing some listeners' opinions on Dev and Erica's blossoming friendship. This podcast covers the episodes of Coronation Street broadcast in the UK between the 23rd and 26th November - we were so busy yesterday that we still haven't had a chance to watch Friday's shows! In any case, with an extra episode on Thursday this week, there was plenty to get our teeth into, including Luke's high stakes race on Monday, Gary's return to the cobbles, and Leanne's confession (at last!) that Simon's been hitting her. In the Kabin, we discuss yesterday's reports (later denied by ITV) that Corrie is to feature a storyline about Muslim extremism - is there any way they could get such a controversial topic to work? We hear some of your opinions on Kate and Caz in the feedback section, before finishing off with some chat about upcoming cast comings and goings in a Kabin Extra.

On the podcast this week we share our thought on the episodes of Corrie broadcast in the UK between the 16th and the 20th November. This week, we're introduced to Kate's fiancée Caz, who's clearly up for getting married as soon as possible - however, it seems like her feelings may not be reciprocated... Speaking of short engagements, Liz and Tony are barely betrothed for five minutes on Monday when she finally reveals she's been stringing him along all this time. Meanwhile, Simon's reign of terror over Leanne continues - how much more will she be able to take before she retaliates? Next up, we take a look at what the World Wide Web has to offer for fans of all things Corrie, before learning about Hayley Tamaddon's latest endeavour in The Kabin. We round off the episode for some more Liz and Tony chat in the feedback section.

Look out Leanne - Simon's back in town, looking extra mean in his black leather jacket, and he's gunning for you! Meanwhile, Ken continues to openly pursue his relationship with Nessa, whilst Liz and Tony try to keep their reunion under wraps. Is she about to make the biggest mistake of her life, or could she have an ulterior motive? In the Kabin, we discuss the rumours of Kate Oakes' potential Twitter ban for the cast, and we hear about some listeners' thoughts on Ken's love life in the feedback section. There's something in the air this week, because it seems like everyone's in the mood for romance. Well okay, maybe not Gary and Alya, but that aside, the other storylines this week include the love triangle between Ken, Nessa and Audrey; Mary's blossoming relationship with Brendan; Dev proving he's still got it by setting his sights on Erika; and the reunion of Liz and Tony. There must be something not right when a child cancer storyline is a bit of fresh air! Next up we answer some more of your listener questions, including a discussion on which new businesses we'd like to see on the show. We have a short obituary for Stephen Hancock in the news section, before finishing off with more of your feedback.

In our latest podcast, we take a look at the episodes of Coronation Street broadcast between the 26th and the 30th October in the UK. It's the run up to Halloween on the cobbles this week, and although we sadly didn't get to experience the reanimated corpse of Callum crawling out of Gail's manhole, we were at least treated to the sight of Tyrone in skin-tight Catwoman outfit, which, in many ways, is just as terrifying. Meanwhile, Mary may have found a kindred spirit in the form of ghost hunter Brendan, and all hell breaks loose when the truth about Alya and Jason's fling is revealed. In the Kabin section, we find out what Craig Charles has been up to to mark Halloween, and round off the episode with some feedback. Our character profile this week is on Corrie's very own Wednesday Addams - it's Amy Barlow!
