On our latest podcast, we chat about the episodes of Corrie shown between the 8th and the 12th September 2025 (Episodes #11,665 - 11,668).

There may have only been two trips to Weatherfield this week, but Monday's bombshell was enough to keep us talking for just as long as a regular podcast! Becky Swain is alive! A lot of us had seen it coming, but it was certainly a shock that it happened quite so soon. You may have already heard our initial reactions on the podcast we released earlier this week, so how did we feel about Becky's explanation for where she'd been all this time? Did it hold water, and is she really telling the whole truth? Away from all the Swarla drama, we also had another couple of shockers in the form of Tyrone being hit by a car and Shona revealing she had a bun in the oven. THIS is how you keep twists under wraps until broadcast, Corrie - keep it up!

After the Street Talk segment, we head over to The Kabin, where we talk about Corrie at the NTAs and Vicky Myers having to pull out of the upcoming Audience With in Glasgow, and we round things off with some of your immediate Becky bombshell reactions in the feedback section.

Becky Swain Reaction-Cast!

Well that was a bit of a twist on Monday's episode, wasn't it? We've speculated about it for a while, but as an end of show cliffhanger, it was revealed to us that Lisa's supposedly dead wife is actually alive and well! We couldn't wait until Friday to talk about our reaction to this bombshell, so in this special bonus episode, we talk about our initial thoughts on the reveal, ponder what on earth Becky could have been up to, and, in the second half of the podcast, take a look at the press release that gives us a few teasers about what we might find out about Becky's motives for returning to Weatherfield...

On this week's podcast, we share our thoughts on what went on in Corrie between the 1st and the 5th September (Episodes #11,659 - 11,664).

All in all, a pretty good set of episodes for Corrie this week, with some lovely, sweet scenes in the Swarla story as we finally get that proposal that we've been building up to for weeks. And so close to getting some solid answers to the Becky Swain mystery too - although not only are we leaning a lot more to the side of 'she's still alive' now, we've got a feeling that Roy might have even bumped into her in the hospital... Also this week, Theo takes out his anger on Todd after a tough mediation session with Danielle and Noah - but is there really any excusing his behaviour? Elsewhere on the cobbles, Debbie attempts a coup on the dementia choir, Carl enlists Brody and Dylan for a spot of car thievery and Christina opens up to George about how much she's struggling since Dom's death - but is it all just an act?

In the Kabin segment of the podcast, we weigh in on the rumours that the Corrie cast have been told not to stop for fans outside the gates at Media City, and we finish things off with more of your feedback.

Aadi Alahan Character Profile

This week’s bonus podcast is all about Aadi Alahan. Introduced to the show as a newborn baby in 2006, Aadi’s now officially flown the nest and headed off to start a new life in India (and yes, he’s somehow 20 now - some of these soap character really do grow up so fast!). From his days as a budding golf prodigy to dodgy dates, steamy affairs, and being wrongly accused of spiking Lauren, Aadi’s storylines have kept us thoroughly entertained over the years. But what were our most memorable Aadi moments? And what was it about his character that made him such a fan favourite? On our latest podcast, we chat about the episodes of Coronation Street shown in the UK between the 25th and the 29th August (Episodes #11,653 - 11,658).

Sorry, we couldn't help it - this episode does get somewhat ranty towards the beginning thanks to Corrie's insane decision to publish spoilers about the massive twist in Friday's episode first thing in the morning, thus ruining the surprise for anyone foolish enough to scroll social media rather whilst munching on their Weetabix rather than switching straight to ITVX. And it was a great twist too! Definitely something that we're interested in seeing the fallout from at Number 13... Anyway, that wasn't even the main focus of the week - that particular spotlight, of course, falls on Asha, who had a bit of a mare of a day to flash back to on Monday, and on the same week that we're saying goodbye to the lovely Aadi, too! Also this week, Theo ramps up his control of Todd when he bans him from seeing Billy, whilst over at the Rovers - praise be! - Christina's back in town, and Jenny's feeling more than a little suspicious of her motives... 

Up next on the podcast it's The Kabin, and we chat a bit about Adam Hussain's latest short film, Spice For Life, which made its way onto YouTube this week, and we round off the show with some feedback, including one listener's personal ranking of all the Rovers owners over the years - now that's a discussion we can really get behind!

We Go On The Emmerdale Village Tour

We’ve walked the Corrie cobbles more times than we can count, so we thought - why not give the Dales a try? Last weekend, we headed up to Yorkshire for the Emmerdale Village Tour, despite knowing next to nothing about ITV’s second soap. And, of course, it wouldn’t be a Conversation Street trip up north without a little detour! Alongside the official tour, we also popped over to Esholt, the village that was home to Emmerdale between 1976 and 1997. But the big question is: is the Emmerdale tour worth taking if you don’t know your Dingles from your Sugdens? Tune in to find out!

Conversation Street Episode 694

On our latest podcast, we chat about the episodes of Coronation Street shown between the 18th - 22nd August (Episodes #11,647 - 11,652).

There was definitely something in the Weatherfield water this week as everyone seemed to be more than a little bit randy! From Steve and Cassie (and an unwilling third party teddy bear) cavorting in the living room of Number 9 to Sarah-Louise using her best seduction techniques on Underworld's latest client, the cobbles were practically steaming - and as for Abi and Carl's saucy antics.. well we can definitely say we were pleased to see Tracy pouring a bucket of cold water over that on Friday! Also this week, we had Aadi deciding that a trip to India maybe isn't  such a bad idea after all, romance between Dee-Dee and Olly, and an some intriguing comments from Costello that had us theorising all sorts about the circumstances surrounding Becky's death...

After the Street Talk segment of the podcast, we were off to The Kabin, where we take a look at which cast members have been nominated for an NTA this year, and we finish things off with some lovely listener feedback.

For this week’s bonus podcast, we’re dipping back into the Listener Questions vault to tackle two more of your thought-provoking ponderings. First up, we muse on the idea of naming a child after a Corrie character – if we absolutely had to, who would we choose from the cobbles? (And which names would be on our definite veto list?) After that, we take on a question about the characters we’re not so fond of, imagining the storylines we’d give them that might just raise them in our estimations.
