This weekend's podcast covers the episodes of Corrie broadcast in the UK between the 3rd and the 7th April. This week, Ken's woken up from his coma, but, of course, has no idea who'se the one that put him there. We're pretty convinced it's Little Miss Moneybags at the moment, but even so, we're absolutely loving the twists and turns the story's taking. What really went on between Peter and Chloe? Why does Ken have a new will? Is Adam's shifty behaviour really just a massive red herring? We don't know all the answers, but we certainly enjoyed speculating! After Street Talk, we tackle some listener questions, with the spotlight falling this time on Phelan and Leanne. In the Kabin, we offer our critique (yes, and it is pretty crtical!) of Will.I.Am's latest music video, filmed in the Rovers, and we end the show with a few of your Barlow-bashing theories in the feedback section.

In this weekend's podcast, we discuss the episodes of Coronation Street broadcast in the UK between the 27th and the 31st March. We knew it! We said last week that all that Ken drama was going to build up to some kind of whodunnit, and this week, we were proven right. The Phantom Barlow Basher struck on Monday night's episodes, whacking Ken on the head and pushing him down the stairs as he went up to fill the kettle. Was it Adam, the scorned grandson? Tracy, the neglected daughter? Daniel, the grieving son? Someone else? There are so many possible suspects in this, and of course, we weigh in with our own thoughts and theories. After Street Talk, we do a profile of one of Corrie's most iconic characters, before ending the podcast with some lovely listener feedback. Ah yes, and as it's April 1st, we may well have snuck an April Fool into this episode, too - see if you can spot it!

Conversation Street Episode 245

On this episode of Conversation Street, we take a look at Corrie between the 20th and the 24th March. With there being no Wednesday visit to the cobbles, it literally was a week of two halves - but fortunately, the episodes themselves were consistently fantastic. Ken Barlow was once again at the front and centre this week, and we loved it - his scene with Sinead in number one where he laments how Deirdre always held him back in life being particularly gripping. Meanwhile, Tracy fought to save the florist, Peter continued to play a dangerous game with Chloe, and a mysterious phone call for Amy certainly got us speculating! After Street Talk, we delve into the second half of our run down of the Rovers landlords and landladies, covering the likes of Natalie, Fred and... the Beige One. There's some news about Cherylee Houston's new fundraising project in The Kabin, then the usual mix of tweets, Facebook messages and emails in the feedback section. Enjoy!

Our latest podcast focuses on the episodes of Coronation Street shown in the UK between the 13th and the 17th March. This week, Sarah's in for a shock when Nathan turns up for dinner looking a tad older than expected. Good job she noticed really, considering nobody's twigged that Nick's also been looking about ten years older than he should be for years! Speaking of Nick, he's had another rubbish week, falling out big time with Leanne when he realises he's not going to keep Steve out of baby Ollie's life. (That's right, Nick - we called him Ollie. Whatcha gonna do?) Meanwhile, Faye stuns Anna with the news that she's got a tattoo, but she's in for a shock of her own when she has a chance meeting with Jackson and Miley. Next up, with Liz and Steve potentially calling time on their reign in the Rovers,  we do the first half of a two-part feature looking back at past landlords and landladies of the pub, going right back to 1902! The plot thickens regarding Denise Black's possible return to the cobbles in The Kabin, then we finish off the show with a bit of feedback and some spoilery cast news in a Kabin Extra.

Move over Platts: the Barlows are ruling the roost in Weatherfield right now, with no fewer than three stories this week revolving around Ken and co. This week, Daniel and Sinead come to a decision about the pregnancy, Peter makes a startling announcement about a potential business opportunity, and Ken's got money to burn when he finds out what shady business Adam's been getting up to. After Street Talk, we do a character profile revisit on Liz McDonald. It was Episode 4 of the podcast when we featured her in our first ever 'classic' character profile segment; 4 years later, we take a look at what she's been getting up to since her triumphant return to the show. A bit of a slow news week in The Kabin, but we have a few first-time writers in the feedback session at the end - always good to hear from someone new! Our latest podcast covers the episodes of Coronation Street broadcast in the UK between the 27th February and the 3rd March. You know, people really should be a bit more careful with who they get pregnant, shouldn't they? Not only did we have the aftermath of the bombshell about Oliver's parentage this week (big props to Kym Marsh again on Monday, by the way - we LOVE crazy Michelle!), but on Friday, it turns out that Sinead hasn't been currful enough in the sack, and now she's up the duff too! Maybe Mel should start advertising birth control implants to the whole Street, not just Bethany... As it was a late recording this week, we decided to to put back the middle section we'd planned, so after Street Talk we go straight into the news (Warning: may contain Gemma rant!) then finish off the show early with some feedback. In the next few days, we're going to be sending in our entry into the British Podcast Awards - any support you could lend us for this would be very much appreciated! Our entry had to include a 15 minute selection of clips that would give the judges an idea of what our podcast was like, so we've tagged it onto the end of the show, as a bit of a 'Best Of' - hope you enjoy!

The Victoria Court lift may be stuck in its tracks, but the Leanne story moved at quite a lick this week, didn't it? Lift births, ash scattering, new baby plans from Michelle and... well, we wouldn't want to spoil the big plot development of the week, but can we just say again how much we love ITV not giving away all these twists at the moment? Also on the Street this week, is that a spark we sense between Brian and Cathy, or was it just Darryl's final nibble on that electric cable? Alas, poor Darryl - taken from this world too soon. No, wait... After Street Talk, we delve into some listener questions: If we could go back in time and change a Corrie plot, what would it be, and which characters are in dire need of a storyline this year? On our Valentine's week podcast, we talk about the episodes of Coronation Street shown in the UK between the 13th and the 17th February. The sex ring storyline gets even darker this week, as the creepy Nathan succeeds in luring Bethany into bed. We're both gripped by this story, but is Corrie going too far? From sex to drugs, and Rosie spills the beans to Adam about the buried biscuit tin - can he convince Todd to join him in his nefarious plans? Meanwhile, Pat panics when he finds out that Luke's on the hunt for Andy, and Leanne waddles down the warpath when Simon goes missing during an evening with Peter. Next up, we take a look in the Corrie history books and do a classic character profile of Rosie's first love, Craig Harris. In the Kabin, we go through the main points that came out of this week's Corrie panel with Kieran Roberts, before finishing off with some listener feedback.

Conversation Street Episode 239

This weekend's episode of Conversation Street covers all things Corrie between the 6th and the 10th February in the UK. Love her or hate her, you can't deny that this week belonged to Rosie Webster, the vegetarian goth turned glamour model turned reality TV star, who made her big return to the cobbles this week. Although we both agreed Ms. Webster was a little OTT on Monday's episodes, we thought she'd calmed down a lot by Friday, and are both thrilled to have her back on the show. Also on The Street this week, Daniel and Sinead drop their undies in Underworld, Pat gets a young apprentice, and Shona... well, she's still just as mysterious as ever. After Street Talk, we return to our Conversation Street Awards Ultimate Showdown, and discuss, among other categories, the best couple, fight and story of the past five years. Some real tough decisions here, and we definitely don't always agree! In Street Talk, we celebrate the extension of Helen Flanagan's Corrie contract, and then finish off the episode with another large batch of listener emails.

Adam's miffed when he finds out Ken's only leaving him a tiny fraction of his estate in his will; Johnny asks Jenny to sign a pre-nup after Kate convinces him she's after his cash; and Kevin tries to convince Anna to sue David over her injuries when his insurance company refuses to pay up after the garage fire. Meanwhile, the truth about Peter and Toyah's affair finally comes out, and Leanne is on the warpath! After Street Talk, we take a look back at the past five years of the Conversation Street Awards, and try to pick out the ultimate champion in each category. In The Kabin, we celebrate the naming of factory foreman Dirk - that's right, it's #DirkNotKirk! - played by friend of the shown Adam Blease, and the subsequent press attention he's received this week. We finish off the show with a bumper batch of listener feedback.
