On our latest podcast, we check out the episodes of Corrie broadcast in the UK between the 29th and the 31st August. This week, Angie's had enough of Jude's apology bolognaises and tells him it's over.. and with a surprise vow renewal ceremony just around the corner, what could possibly go wrong? Meanwhile, Kate's gutted to hear Rana could be leaving her for a six-week cruise, and there's gun horror for Peter outside the factory...which turns out to be nowhere near as dramatic as it sounds. Yeah... not the best set of episodes this week, really! Never mind, though because after Street Talk, we've got an interview with one of our favourite recent additions to the Corrie cast - George Banks! Could Henry and Gemma have worked as a couple? Which other Corrie character did George once audition for? Is he really as posh as Henry in real life? All shall be revealed! That's followed by our weekly news section, where we take a look at the awesome Corrie costumes at the Manchester Pride as well as weighing in on the controversy surrounding Ryan Thomas in the Big Brother house this week, then we finish off with a bit of listener feedback.

Street Talk covers the episodes of Corrie broadcast in the UK on the 17th and the 20th August. There's tragedy for the Habeebs this week, but can Rana forgive herself for lying to her dad as he shuffles off this mortal coil? She's not the only one bending the truth either, as Ducan's lies continue to cause trouble for Sally, especially when her supposed burner phone is discovered, and Lewis Archer is back on the scene - but can Audrey believe him when he says he's turned over a new leaf? After Street Talk, we're joined for a chat by Charlie de Melo! What's it like being the new guy on set? Could there be a future for Imran and Leanne? Most importantly, why has Imran turned into a massive git this past week? These questions and more our answered in our 40 minute interview! Yep, that's a Friday to Wednesday week, and for various reasons our recording schedule is going to continue to be all over the place this month, so keep an eye out for a very early show next week! In Street Talk this episode, we chat about Sally's wrongful arrest, pondering the validity of the police evidence against her and discussing whether Imran was right to represent the dastardly Duncan. We also give our reaction to Carla's reacquisition of the factory, see what's been ticked off the old 'issues storyline' checklist thanks to Sean this week, and ponder whether the sheer banality of the Jude and Angie storyline is actually starting to make it interesting viewing! We've got another early podcast for you this week, covering the four episodes between the 6th and the 8th August. What great episodes they were, though! If you've listened to the podcast for any length of time, you'll know what big fans of Jenny Connor we are, so to have her and Johnny become owners of the Rovers Return this week was pretty much a dream come true for us. Not only that, but we've also been very much enjoying Abi recently, so it was great to see her get more time in the spotlight this week, as well as other favourites like Gemma, Henry and Imran - top stuff! After Street Talk, we're excited to be joined once again by the newly crowned Queen of the Rovers, Sally Ann Matthews, who chats to us about how she feels taking on such an iconic role, as well as sharing her thoughts on Johnny's recent behaviour and old vs. new Corrie. That's followed by The Kabin, where we tell you everything you need to know about the upcoming cast vs fans quiz in Manchester later this month, and we finish off the podcast with various listeners' thoughts on the Craig/Bethany/Kayla storyline in the feedback section.

On our latest podcast, we discuss the episodes of Coronation Street shown in the UK between the 30th July and the 3rd August. It's the week of the inquest into Aidan's death, and while Carla's still concerned about getting the factory, Johnny's main priority is honouring Aidan's memory - whilst Toyah and Leanne are just hoping Eva will be back in time to testify. Also this week, both Josh and Sean end up in hospital following violent confrontations, and the the factory is invaded by pests - with pervy Mr Hanlon the worst of the lot! It's been three years since we last profiled Eva Price on the podcast, so we thought we'd take a look at what she's been up to since then in the character profile section, where we also weigh up her status as a Corrie icon. Speaking of icons, that's one of the topics of discussion in the news section thanks to a recent poll by SCS. After a bit of listener feedback, we round off the show with a Kabin Extra segment to discuss an exciting bit of casting news that's recently been revealed.

Thanks to last week's early podcast, we've got a tonne of things to cover this week, as we discuss the episodes of Corrie broadcast in the UK between the 20th and the 27th July. This week saw the climax of the Kayla story, and the big reveal of her secret identity. What could be next for her character, though, and is redemption really possible? Also this week, a fair bit of comings and goings - Eva and Adam head off for a new life in France, and Tyrone receives the sad news that his mum has died. On the plus side, though, we do get the return of the fabulous Claudia Colby! After Street Talk, we do a quick character profile on the late Jackie Dobbs, who, despite only being in the show for a handful of episodes, certainly made a big impression (and speaking of impressions, Michael of course takes plenty of opportunities to crack out his best Scouse accent throughout this section!) On this week's early edition of the podcast, we take a look at the episodes of Coronation Street broadcast in the UK between the 16th and the 18th July. There may only be four episodes to cover, but they went down very well with us, giving us a load to natter on about in the Street Talk segment. First order of business: didn't Cath, Richard and Sal play a blinder this week? That mediation meeting between Eva, Johnny and Jenny had us on the edge of our seats, and although we'd heard in advance that Susie was going to be kidnapped following the meeting, it was still brilliant seeing the aftermath unfold on TV. As for the other stories this week, we were pretty disappointed that Sally's hung up her mayor's chain already, and the less said about the Jude and Angie 'drama' the better, but it was great to see Eileen back, and Henry's purchase of the Rovers for Gemma is bound to ruffle some feathers! After Street Talk, we do a character profile on Johnny Connor. It's been fascinating seeing the viewers' massive change in opinion towards Johnny these past few months, and we found plenty to discuss about his nearly three years on the cobbles. Finally, we finish off the podcast with some feedback, including your responses to last week's listener questions.

Whilst some people like to stay cool with icy drinks, lollies and switching up the air con, for Robert and Michelle it means getting freaky in the freezer - what could possibly go wrong?
