Conversation Street Episode 90

On Episode 90 of the podcast, we take a trip up to Manchester to go on Coronation Street The Tour. Todd's plot to get Marcus for himself finally comes to fruition, as he manages to arrange for Maria to find them in a compromising position. They're not the only ones caught with their pants down this week, though, as David is left red-faced during an attempt to get up to some hanky-panky with Kylie in the salon! Meanwhile, Fiz is starting to worry about Roy, but can she coax him away from his trains before he goes off the rails? With Kevin back in town, we ask listeners whether Tim should be worried, and our character profile is the woman whose affections they're both vying for: Weatherfield super-snob Sally Webster.

On the 86th edition of Conversation Street, we chat about the Corrie episodes broadcast in the UK between the 10th and the 14th March in the UK. There's a smug glow in the air of Weatherfield this week, as a number of residents go all charitable. As Fiz and Julie ponder the practicalities of a skydive in ballgowns to raise money in Hayley's name, Sally agrees to provide a bed for - as she puts it - a local vagrant, but will Maddie be able to tempt Sophie to join her in it? Meanwhile, Gary and Owen continue their 'volunteer' work at the Mill - but just how far will Phelan push them? In the Kabin section of the show, we have all the details for the soon to be opening Coronation Street tour, and hear about some of the latest problems hitting the show's producers - both on and off set. Instead of a character profile, we are pleased to be joined by the DownEastStreeters' Mark Grant, who chats to us about the upcoming Evening With Jimmi Harkishin event in Nova Scotia.

On the latest Conversation Street, we chat about the episodes broadcast in the UK between the 3rd and 7th March. It's the start of Lent this week, but we think that some of the Corrie characters have the wrong idea. Take Peter: rather than giving up on something he enjoys, he's now happily bedding Carla *and* Tina at every opportunity. As for Sophie, although she'd resolved to give up on Maddie, by the end of the week, romance was definitely in the air. Meanwhile, Phelan's marking Easter early, trying his hand at his very own resurrection routine. In the Kabin segment, we share our thoughts on Thursday's excellent Moving Story documentary, and hear about an upcoming Corrie fan event in Canada. This week on Conversation Street, we chat about the episodes of Corrie broadcast in the UK between the 24th and 28th February. There's bad news for Jason this week, as he loses out on his chance to do the construction at Dev's new gym. He's not the only one fretting about being out of work, but at least he didn't clock Kal's dad around the head with a plank of wood - that's what you're supposed to do when you don't get on with your boss, right Gary? Meanwhile, Eileen is outraged when she finds out what Todd and Marcus have been getting up to, and she's not the only one, as we find out in the news segment of the show. Our character profile this week is Gloria Price.

On this week's podcast, we talk about the episodes of Coronation Street broadcast between the 17th and 21st February in the UK. Just what is going on with the men of Weatherfield at the moment? We've got Dennis telling Rita he loves her one minute, then driving off into the night with his floozy the next; Marcus is ripping the clothes off of someone who's clearly a moustache twirl away from being the next Corrie villain; and rather than spending a week in the city of love with his new wife, we have Peter jumping into bed with someone young enough to be his daughter! And we thought that Darryl was the only rat on the Street...
