This week saw the return of two old favourites to the show: first off, Ken's back from Canada and is outraged to discover that Peter's been banged up on suspicion of Tina's murder. It's just a relief that he didn't bump into Roy at all, as the news of Weatherfield Library going up in flames probably would have finished him off! This week also saw the return of Jim McDonald - desperate times have called for desperate measures for Peter, and it seems like The Landlord has got just the 'measures' that he needs... As we're still feeling francophile after our recent holiday across the Channel, instead of a character profile this week, we look back at Corrie's links with France. Then on Wednesday, when bailiffs show up at the Windass house, the extent of the family's financial woes becomes clear. Still, they're quids in if they happen to have any old World War 1 medals lying around the place, as Tracy discovers. This week on Conversation Street, we chat about the episodes of Corrie broadcast in the UK between the 23rd and the 27th June. It's certainly been a week of hellos and goodbyes, kicking off with everyone saying a fond farewell to Tina at her funeral on Monday. As for hellos, we're introduced to Kal's daughter Alya on Wednesday, with Gary giving her a particularly warm welcome! Meanwhile, David comes face to face with Michael Rodwell, who arrives at number 4 with romantic intentions towards Gail... Speaking of romance, visitors to the old Coronation Street set can now get married on the cobbles, which forms the main topic of conversation in the Kabin segment of the show. In addition to the usual feedback, we also hear your thoughts about the first half of 2014 for Corrie so far, and discuss our own personal highs and lows in this week's special segment.

It's our 100th episode of the podcast, and to celebrate, we've got a couple of segments featuring some of our listeners as special guests! First off in the Street Talk section, in which we talk about the episodes of Corrie shown in the UK between the 9th and 13th June, we're joined by Rob and Jules. We have a great chat about Owen's return to the Street, the appearance of Tina's mum, and Sally and Tim's hilarious unproposal in the Rovers. Up next, we host a Coronation Street quiz, in which listeners Mark, Regan and Stephen go head to head in an attempt to answer questions posed by all-round Corrie expert Tvor. Finally, we round off the podcast discussing the recent Gail and Me documentary in the Kabin section, before ending with some of your lovely feedback.
