This week, it seems like things are really hotting up in the Weatherfield's Next Top Villain competition, with Geoff now throwing his hat into the ring by gaslighting Yasmeen. Perhaps in retaliation, nearest competitor Gary ups the stakes further by taking over Rick's loan shark business, whilst rank outsider Robert continues his low level villainousness by going full-on with this whole double life malarkey. After Street Talk, we do our annual run down of the year so far, discussing the highs and lows of Corrie in 2019 when it comes to plot, characters and overall production. That's followed by a look at Corrie's nominations in the TV Choice Awards shortlist in the Kabin, then we round off the podcast with some of our listener's thoughts on the first half of the year, in the feedback section.
