Conversation Street Episode 9

Join us on this week's episode of the podcast, where we talk about the three Corrie episodes shown between the 8th and the 10th October. It's been a bit of a slow week, with only the Ken and Wendy storyline providing any real interest for us, but we expect there'll be some crossover with another story soon, following Tracy's revelation to Ryan! Speaking of Tracy, we do a 20-minute long character profile on ol' Toxic this week, looking back on some of the major plots she's had over the past 35 years. All that, plus some big behind-the-scenes news for Coronation Street is discussed, and we read some feedback from some new listeners!

Conversation Street Episode 8

On this week's show, we talk about the Coronation Street episodes broadcast in the UK between the 1st and 5th October.  The bulk of our Street Talk coverage this week focuses on Tyrone's new role as a stay at home dad and Maria's breast cancer scare, but we also chat briefly about Mary's new role managing the café, Ken's big secret and the lack of anything particularly interesting happening in Lloyd's storyline!  We also try something a bit different in the profile section this week, as we consider past occasions where characters on the Street have been hit by cancer, and discuss how successful producers have been in featuring this sensitive issue.

This week on the podcast, we discuss the episodes shown between the 24th and 28th September. The storyline that dominated this week was obviously Tyrone and Kirsty's struggle to bring up baby Ruby, so we spend quite a bit of Street Talk discussing that. We also chat about Michelle's continuing feud with Tracy, Lloyd's efforts to get to know his newly-discovered daughter, and the return of Wendy Crozier, who also goes under the spotlight in our character profile section.

We tackle the ever-expanding surrogacy storyline, talk about Tommy and Tina's money woes, and marvel at Deirdre's mammoth stuffed marrow. We turn the spotlight onto Tina for our character profile, and dig up some interesting facts that could affect the surrogacy. All this, plus our regular news section and listener feedback.

Kirsty's manipulative schemes are disected and we ponder who would win in a battle of wits between her and the other evil mastermind on the street, Tracey Barlow. Conversation Street Episode 3

Because there's no Friday episode of Corrie this week, we've recorded Conversation Street a little earlier. This week, Gemma and Michael discuss the episodes broadcast between the 27th and the 30th August, including the latest developments in the Tyrone and Kirsty domestic abuse storyline; Karl somehow managing to sell £250 worth of Chinese smoke detectors in day; and the desperate measures that Ryan is going to, in order to fund his drug addiction. On top of that, we run down the latest Street news, give a quick review of Corrie Goes To Kenya, and reminisce about some of our favourite Tyrone moments in the character profile section.
