On the latest Conversation Street, we chat about the episodes broadcast in the UK between the 3rd and 7th March. It's the start of Lent this week, but we think that some of the Corrie characters have the wrong idea. Take Peter: rather than giving up on something he enjoys, he's now happily bedding Carla *and* Tina at every opportunity. As for Sophie, although she'd resolved to give up on Maddie, by the end of the week, romance was definitely in the air. Meanwhile, Phelan's marking Easter early, trying his hand at his very own resurrection routine. In the Kabin segment, we share our thoughts on Thursday's excellent Moving Story documentary, and hear about an upcoming Corrie fan event in Canada. This week on Conversation Street, we chat about the episodes of Corrie broadcast in the UK between the 24th and 28th February. There's bad news for Jason this week, as he loses out on his chance to do the construction at Dev's new gym. He's not the only one fretting about being out of work, but at least he didn't clock Kal's dad around the head with a plank of wood - that's what you're supposed to do when you don't get on with your boss, right Gary? Meanwhile, Eileen is outraged when she finds out what Todd and Marcus have been getting up to, and she's not the only one, as we find out in the news segment of the show. This week, time finally runs out for Hayley, as she says her final goodbyes and takes her own life. We knew it was coming, but what did we make of Hayley's final few scenes? Meanwhile, as one life ends, a new one begins, as Chesney invites Sinead to move in with him. However, by the end of the week, he's got more company than he was bargaining for! There's a lot of news to discuss this week, including Corrie's latest triumph at the National TV Awards, then with Hayley's suicide fresh on our minds, we take a look at Katy Harris in the profile section - a character who took her own life in a rather unconventional way nine years ago...

It's Todd's party this week, and although his gifts of Prosecco and £100 shirts are very well and good, what he really wants for his birthday is to come between Maria and Marcus. Showing more success on the romance front, meanwhile, is Dev, who manages to convince Stella to go out with him to the Weatherfield Traders' Association Ball. Meanwhile, everybody's favourite Corrie couple, Roy and Hayley, prepare for the end - though not before getting themselves into a bit of a sticky situation involving 500 punnets of strawberries... In The Kabin, we discover something unexpected that we have in common with Michelle Keegan, and in the bumper character profile section, we celebrate the life of Corrie's very own lady in red, the wonderful Hayley Cropper.
