In the news section this week, we look forward to Julie Hesmondhalgh's first post-Corrie role, whilst we learn even more about Northen accents thanks to some helpful feedback. There's trouble afoot as Steve and Lloyd prepare for Monday's fun run, but Steve gets more than he's bargained for when Kal dishes out his frustrations during a clandestine gym session. Maddie also has a secret on Friday, which she doesn't manage to hide for long, whereas Sinead just wishes she could keep herself under wraps. We talk BSA nominations in the Kabin, then discuss the finer points of the Lancashire accent in the feedback section. Our character profile this week is Steve McDonald.

In the Kabin section of the show, we chat about Sarah Lancashire's recent comments about the prejudices that soap actors face, before finishing off with a bit of feedback. It's Easter weekend, and we've realised that we didn't even mention it once on the show, so here are some terrible puns instead: Peter's left with egg on his face this week, as Carla discovers he's fallen off the wagon. As Tyrone and Fiz worry about bad egg Kirsty's release from prison, Maria's becoming egg-tremely paranoid. Meanwhile, despite losing the £40K he shelled out on the Mill, Owen's relieved to have eggs-ited his contract with Phelan. But we reckon he hasn't seen the last of him yet, as sure as eggs is eggs...  In the news section, we discuss the unearthing of a rare piece of Corrie footage from over forty years ago, and we answer your questions about the Corrie tour in the feedback section. On Episode 90 of the podcast, we take a trip up to Manchester to go on Coronation Street The Tour. During our visit, we recorded an audio diary of our experiences for you to enjoy, from our hunt for various filming locations, through our slap up meal at Annies (the restaurant owned by Jennie McAlpine), to the tour of the old set itself. The Weatherfield crime wave strikes the Platt residence on Monday, as a shady-looking individual is disturbed in the middle of a break-in. Meanwhile, Gary and Owen get up to a little thievery of their own, but can they pull the wool over Phelan's eyes? Of course, the real crime this week is that the Peter and Tina storyline shows no signs of coming to an end... Tales of naughty antics continue into the Kabin segment of the show, where we hear about some urban explorers who've broken into the old set. Meanwhile, Fiz is starting to worry about Roy, but can she coax him away from his trains before he goes off the rails? Meanwhile, Gary and Owen continue their 'volunteer' work at the Mill - but just how far will Phelan push them?
