This week, Sally's suspicions grow when Tim continues to sneak round to Anna's. Across the street, Michelle's having reading problems of her own - though for her it's closed book Steve that she's struggling to decipher. Meanwhile, Michael finally manages to track down his estranged son Gavin - but can he buck up the courage to meet him in person? Speaking of challenging times, Michelle's finding Steve's strange behaviour more and more difficult to deal with, whilst Tim discovers that this whole learning to read malarkey isn't quite as easy as he was expecting. In the Kabin, we talk about Craig Charles' chances in the new series of I'm A Celebrity, plus there's more Corrie tour related news, then we round of the podcast with a bit more feedback. We may not have seen anyone going to a bonfire night party on the Street this week, but there are plenty of fireworks at the wedding of the year. Rob's jilted Tracy and bolted to Bolton, but can he trust her to keep his whereabouts a secret? From desperate criminal to just plain desperate, Izzy's eyes are on stalks when a hunky paramedic shows up at the community centre, but there could be a serious case of sibling rivalry ahead when Katy sweeps in and asks him out to dinner! Meanwhile, there are some 'comedy' scenes between NOT BOYFRIEND AND GIRLFRIEND Maria and Luke, and Todd gets what some might say he's had coming to him whilst on a trip into town... There's no character profile or news this week, but we still have a bit of feedback to talk through, plus the launch of a competition to win a 2015 Corrie calendar!

On the latest edition of the podcast, we chat about the episodes of Coronation Street broadcast in the UK between the 24th and the 29th October 2014. Everyone's gearing themselves up for the Barlow-Donovan wedding this week, but even before Tracy can take Rob up the ailse, it's Carla who makes an honest man of him, finally getting him to 'fess up to Tina's grisly murder. Meanwhile, Michael and Gemma both end up in hospital (the characters, that is, not us!) and Yasmeen opens the doors to the Jamila House Community Centre - once the books are all in Dewey decimal order, of course! ITV did an excellent job at keeping the outcome a secret, but what did we make of the jury's decision? Meanwhile, as Liz and Steve cut Jim out of their lives forever, Fiz and Chesney are forced to welcome a face from the past back into theirs. In the Kabin, there's some great news about the old set tour, then in the feedback section, we discuss how Corrie will cope without Deirdre. Our character profile this week is, of course, the brilliant Cilla Battersby-Brown, then stay 'til the end for a Kabin Extra, where we share our thoughts on even more returning characters, who'll be hitting the cobbles next year.

In the Kabin segment, Gemma's mouth is watering at the sound of Jennie McAlpine's new business venture, then in the feedback section, we hear from a listener for whom Yasmeen Nazir has been a bit of a damp squib. Our character profile this week is Weatherfield's proverbial bad penny, Terry Duckworth.

Elsewhere, Kylie finds it hard to resist temptation, and as Peter's trial gets ever nearer, Deirdre is feeling a trifle stressed. As we're feeling a bit under the weather this week, we didn't have time to put together a character profile, but we still manage to round off the podcast with some feedback and a few bits of Corrie news - including a preview of a cool Halloween event being organised at the Coronation Street set tour.

On the latest Conversation Street, we chat about the episodes of Corrie broadcast in the UK between the 29th September and the 3rd October. The Platts' relationship takes a turn for the worse this week, after David catches Kylie popping one of Max's pills. Meanwhile, Yasmeen's mission to get Weatherfield reading steps up a gear - although it looks like she'd have her work cut out with Tim, whose newfound illiteracy causes a few problems when he gets some leaflets printed for his round. And speaking of dirty widows, Gail plans a weekend away with Michael this week - but will his dicky ticker cope with the non-stop adventure holiday destination that is Bakewell?  In the Kabin section of the show, we find out who's won what at the Inside Soap Awards, then we chat about the realism of Max's portrayal of ADHD in the feedback segment.
