On the latest edition of the podcast, we chat about the episodes of Coronation Street broadcast in the UK between the 24th and the 29th October 2014. Everyone's gearing themselves up for the Barlow-Donovan wedding this week, but even before Tracy can take Rob up the ailse, it's Carla who makes an honest man of him, finally getting him to 'fess up to Tina's grisly murder. Meanwhile, Michael and Gemma both end up in hospital (the characters, that is, not us!) and Yasmeen opens the doors to the Jamila House Community Centre - once the books are all in Dewey decimal order, of course! There's more good news about the Coronation Street tour - including a potential job opportunity - to discuss in The Kabin, whilst in the feedback section, there are some differences of opinion from our listeners about Yasmeen and Cilla. Learnt a few things about Bill Waddington I previously didn’t know about such as he already had worked with the actress who played Phyllis. Gemma being named after Gemma Craven, she was married to one of the main actors in Emmerdale Farm from 1980 to 1984 so you were already to connected to an ITV soap from birth but the other side of the Pennines.
